flexplate Replacement
Hey guys and gals...
I'm pretty sure my flexplate is cracked.....It's been making a rattling noise off and on.....I've been quoted $495 parts + labor to replace the flexplate with dealer parts. Is this a good price???
I can't do it on my own, I don't have the tools or the place to do it.

A stock replacement can be had for $70. The dealer is probably getting it even cheaper. I agree that that's way too much to remove and reinstall a tranny. I'll do it for $100 and 6 dos equis!

I have a stock flexplate that I could sell you cheap if you needed one. Or look into one of these:
