Default Anybody have a Yank SS4000?

I have a 02 camaro that is stock other than a 3500 converter and exhaust. I want to change converters and thinking about a ss4000. Would it be too big for the power range or will it perform?

I bought one for my stock Z. I've heard it's one of the best to go with.

got it an love it, you will be just fine running that converter especially if you have sticky tires and like cutting 1.6 60' times or better on stock suspension.

Sounds like everybody loves it. Yea I need some better 60ft's. I pull 1.7's now on 17"nittos. I just don't want to over do it on stall, I am changing the converter soon anyways so I was wanting to go with a yank 3600 or 4000. Anybody spray on either of these converters?

I will be soon, possibly later on this year but there have been a few others that have. I wouldn't shoot more than 150 at it though.

I replaced a Yank ST3500 with a SS4000 and there was zero difference in driveability between the two. All gains were at WOT. Very nice street converter, but a little too tight for me. I personally like looser converters...very popular though as a street/strip converter.

You better have some suspension upgrades because the SS4000 hits hard

^^^Dan is absolutely right. The SS4K will **** chunks of Nitto rubber out and laugh about it. Suspension work is 100% needed.
