5.3/powerglide question

Default 5.3/powerglide question

ive got a 5.3 and want to run a powerglide. i know its been gone over and over and beat to death, but i just cant find what im looking for.
what flexplate do I use (5.3, 5.7, 6.0?, what converter do i use( ls based or one for a sbc350/p-glide)? ive read a bunch about spacers?? Do you need one? im lost.

Try calling any of the tranny guru's they can tell you exactly what you need, or call TCI or Carl Rossler.

you will use a LS flexplate and in your powerglide you will use a turbo input shaft so you can run a 350/400 converter (the beauty of a turbo input shaft is that it is thicker than a powerglide input shaft so its stroner) but you will have to have your converter mounting tabs set up for LS base flexplate. Im running a powerglide behind my 6.0

what brand of converter are you running?

i found this.....
