V6 vs V8 4l60e My trans recently went out and I'm looking for a cheap throw in right now. There are several v6 f bodies at the junkyard all with autos. Are the tranmissions the same as so far as gearing? And are the bolt patterns different from the LT1 and LS1 4l60e's?

That's the problem, I'm having the original rebuilt for much less than that (uncle's trans shop), but it's gonna take awhile, so I just want something to get it on the road for now so it just doesn't sit around.
