Default 4400 HUGHES STALL...full race for street use??

here it goes, I have a few questions. I bought a badass converter awhile back from a local guy it was a brand new hughes converter. When I ran the the part number it was like 1000 converter which I believe was a more race converter. Well I had my converter cut and cleaned. The guy who did the work said their was a solid plate that will make the converter generate heat no matter what? So does anyone have any ideas how I can use this converter and drive it around the street like 100 miles round trip or cruises?

To be honest I do not know..I just know the guy told me their was a sold piece which this converter will always make the tranny run hot and shouldnt be use for the street. My car is not a dd but I would like to be able to take it out on a cruise once in a while..

well yesterday i mounted another cooler in his car and have two cooelrs in it now.car runs great and never even gets close to hott at all...went from modesto to milpitas on teh freeway and never went pass 160*. Seems to work great just cruising around in town last night and few test passes and burnouts and a lil run it never got up to 120*. Seems to be we fixed the problem and have B&M trans fluid in also. Hey bro glad we could get that done and you were able to cruise it and have no problems.
