Default can i spray through downshifts?

My window switch on my nitrous is set up so i don't spray through the upshifts, but what about spraying through downshifts?

like if im on the highway and i wanna go can i just arm the nitrous floor it and spray through the downshift?

or should i floor it wait till it downshifts and then arm the n2o?

I would do the second option, just to save the trans. I also manually bring mine into second before going WOT to save some wear and tear on the trans as well. I try to never go into 2nd at WOT.
