i currently have a bmr body mounted torque are mount/crossmember and I was wondering if this will also work as my crossmember for my 4l80 or do I need something else? If I need a different one can it be modified to work?

Almost positive you need the 80 specific mount. You should be able to sell yours and recoup some of the cost.

You can modify the stock M6 mount to get it to work if you have a tunnel mount TA

Both BMR and Yank make crossmembers that work with trans mount and tunnel mount tq arms. I have the Yank with no complaints....The BMR you can also adjust the pinion angle.

Yank with a stock-style torque arm mount is cheaper (thats what I have).

My bmr 80e crossmember is the only thing I have gotten from them lately that has fit right. lol. Bolted right up. K-member was a different story but it finally went in.
