new stall question about size????

new stall question about size???? i just got my transmission rebuilt with a shift kit wider band and performance clutches. the guy that did it had his guy build me a 2500 stall. i know when getting a stall its never the exact size, so how do i tell what size it is? i can foot brake it to 2000 before the almost gone sumitomo tires spin. also i have never driven a car with one so it is all new to me.
