The sorry factory sunshell gears are usually the weakpoint in a heavy truck. One broke in my ex's 99 Burb and on my old 99 PU. Roughly at 60K and 110K These were just DD's that saw a little towing.... On the other hand my current 99 Z-71 has 198K on the factory tranny so go figure????
