I really want to do something to protect my legs. Will a shield like the one CSR sells for the Turbo 400 fit my 4L80e? Are blankets just as effective? I'm most likely going to have to pull my converter out this spring anyways and I want to add some protection while I'm at it...

Yea no one seems to know. Guess I'll just get a blanket and deal with making it fit. Woulda been nice to use a shield though...

Sorry, the TH400 shield will not fit without a fair amount of reworking, I'm speaking of an aluminum shield. Of course after modifying the shield it is no longer SFI approved. We sent CSR a '97 model case to model a shield, but we've never heard anything back.
