Default Tranny Wont kick down

Ok guys just changed my OPSU the other day and Ive driven the car a few times but never really got on it. Well today I noticed that my car will not downshift into first below 40 like it should. If I press it to the floor itll go from 4-3 3-2 or just stay in 2 itll never go to 1st unless i put the shifter there in which case it will and run fine. If i floor it off a stop itll pull and shift normal and it does shift normal in everyday driving. I unplugged the pcm tonight to see if it would reset by morning but idk if thats the issue. Its not throwing an ses so i dont believe there to be any codes. Thanks for the help
Dan

If you dont have anything constructive to add please dont post. Anyway would a transmission code trigger an ses light or is it like abs codes where it takes a special reader to see them.

Does anyone know if theres any wires behind the intake that would make this happen? Also I noticed when punched from a stop it will shift at 5400 ish rpm according to the tach i kno its anything but accurate however the car used to always shift around 58-5900
