My buddy ran a 9.87. He is now putting Hardened shafts in. My guess is he will hit the mid 9's this year.

On this pass he didnt go real high.. It was the first pass with the F-1 and he didnt have all his safety Certs. yet. I usually go to about 3000 RPMs on mine. I should be in the high 10's, N/A this year and maybe a high 9 sec pass on the juice. Just about to install my 402.

Still on stock brakes? How are you holding the car from rolling while foot braking it @ 3000?

I do use a line lock for my burnout, So the brakes aren't that hot. If I am hot lapping it is a little harder to stall it that high!!

Jeff, yeah it does look soft, no weight transfer. Rear shocks are CE 3 way and fronts are QA1's coil overs set at 1. On that run, a 1.49 short time. I did hit a 1.39 on the juice but had to abort because I had my hand on the shifter during launch shifting it manually to second.

Our stock 4L60E took us to a 10.4 on a full weight car. Our PB Level 3 "Invincible" is sitting behind the LSX 454 right now...

I am going with a FLT lvl 5 trans...

I would recommend them to anyone looking for a 4l60e...really a great group of guys and they put only the best parts in their trans...

I would definitely shoot them a call

1.49 is not bad but whats crazy is my car only goes 1.46 and will carry the front tires.

Our Circle D Transmissions 4L60E got us to 9.96s NA in the 1/4 with 1.29 60fts. We had a transbrake in the tranny, but our quicker passes were off the footbrake. We never did break it. We ran it for 3 seasons running brackets and heads up 6.60 index races with no problems. I sold it to a guy on here and now he's running it behind his turbo set up which is a good bit quicker than ours.
