Default Tbss...

I have a 2006 TBSS AWD with 60k on it.
I would like to install basically full bolt-ons with a cam. How do you feel about the stock transmission in my truck? I am worried about it...

Opinions welcome of course.

Some have had them last a while with mods and others blow even stock. Its a crap shoot but sooner or later it will probably go. Mine had to be rebuilt at 36k mile with just a tune and exhaust.

I had to do the 4L70E in my wife's '08 TBSS at 47K miles.
3-4's went away.
It was a tune and converter only.

Upgrade it or go 4L80E. If it shyts the bed, it'll get a 4L80E next time, I did everything reasonable to make it live.

Just want i wanted to hear, i do not see it blowing it any time soon.
It does not even slip now - the pressure is a bit higher and the time it takes to shift is lower so i have firmer shifts but the are not too firm.
