i have a turbo 350 and 3.23s in mine(daily driver), the th350 has deeper first and second gears, and honestly i'd go with a deeper rear gear. just not enough multiplication in first.

There are a bunch of people that run that setup. Look around and you should find some without any issues.

its not so much trans and gears, but that the engine (cam, tire size, rear ratio, etc) converter are all setup to work together-change one item and your stall will change-i ran a 400 with those gears, but installed a 2.75 gear set in the trans, gave me a little better take off, but in 3 rd i still had some good cruising RPM,s

Ok, so If Im using a 383, ported heads, intake and cam, shifting at about 67-6800rpm. 26" slicks will be used with a 3.23 gear. I would like to use the th400 trans but what stall would be the best bet. Im also spraying the car with a minimum of 200?
thanks
