Default Headed to the track for the first time with an auto.

ok, im headed to the track this friday with my heads/cam, 3.73, circle d +4c (stalled to 4200 on my tb) Z06. car will be running on hoosier drag radials. any tips on how to launch? should i stall it as high as it will go? should i just flash it from idle? not sure if i want to use the tranny brake the first time out, kinda want to get the feel of footbraking it first.

Default

with my last stall (changing out for a circle d currently) i would footbrake to about 15-2000 and ease in a little till i knew i had traction and then let her rip. but ive only had 3 runs with my car.

but you're just going to have to find out what the car likes. just try different things each run until you find the best time and keep doing that once you figure it out.
