do u actually have experience with these stalls or are u speakin out of ur ***?

i bought one, havent installed it yet. looks like great quality. search for "revmax quality" on google and u will see alot of support for them. alot of the high hp diesel trucks run them with no problems. here is a good thread about them for camaros: http://www.ls1lt1.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34279

Well my thoughts on the subject are already injected in that thread and I still stand behind them.

if you knew the amount of technical know-how, experience, and labor that goes into converter building... you wouldn't get a cheap one.

Well, i just got my car running after a head/cam and all the bolt ons swap and the RevMaxx was the only thing that I went cheap on. I got took in by the sales guy. I flat out asked him why his was so much cheaper than a Yank. His answer was that if you have a 350-400 horse car, Yank is going to sell you the same stall as if you were laying down 700 horse. He told me he could sell me one comparable in price to the Yank but that I didn't need all that. I did do two upgrades to mine. The anti ballon plates and carbon mesh that was supposed to make it more streetable. When I first got the car out it seemed like I had to put a lot of peddle into it to get it going. After a few miles it wasn't as bad. The converter seems to be doing its job well. Now i just need to get the car in for the dyno tune. Can't wait!

Got a revmax in my 95 Firehawk 3200 stall. Love it. Made the car a blast to drive.

Go Yank or Precision Industries (Vigilante) . Yea you pay more , but they are both worth it .

everybody says go with this or that instead of the "budget" converter. Has anyone had a problem with their not so expensive stall ??

If you are going to have a 500 hp car then I would say get a Yank converter. For me I have a bolt on LT1 and I did not see the need to get a 800.00 converter when I could spend 260.00 and get a converter that can handle the power I am making.

So far I have 1200 miles on the Converter and have had no issues at all.

Your car is making pretty good power with that Revmaxx converter. I had a buddy with a 02 SS with basically the same mods as you but a 6speed and he put down 408rwhp and 381 rwtq.

Years ago I was building a big block chevelle and found a company called ger that sold converters for almost a third less the cost of ati or coan. I opted to save money and picked up the ger and the car seemed to run great on the street but when I went to the track i was only running mid 11s on a full roller 468. I racked my brain what wasnt working with the combo and talked with everyone i could to straighten it out. I finally spoke with coan and they told me cheaper converters use negative vane angles to increase stall but cost in efficency. I swapped in a coan 8" and the car went on the back bumper the first pass off the trailer and still managed a 10.20 at 136.

Ran my Firehawk last night at atco. The car went 13.66@ 100.51mph with a 1.993 60'. The only mods are Revmaxx 3200 converter, MSD coil, and a airfoil.. Made 4 passes in all last night. The car ran very strong. Should be a 12 second car with some 3.73's, Headers, exhaust, and a Drag Radial.

Isn't ATCO like the king of running Personal Bests? Your E.T.s and MPH are shitty IMO even for a bone stock car. Autos should be trapping a minimum of 105 mph. Even your 60ft is crap if you hooked.

soo you got their $299 convertere plus the $52 upgrade for anti ballon plate? is that the only upgrade you got. cause from their website they basically say i need all the upgrades because of making over 500 rwhp...

and have you sprayed with this converter yet?
