Default Shift kits.. Do they gain you any ET?

I'm just wondering if any one has ever done back to back testing with a shift kit being the only change. Did the vehicle go any faster at the track? Hopefully the different testing dates were way different DA's.

IDK but I'm curious myself. Yank doesn't recommend them.

Yank Performance Converters can achieve maximum performance and efficiency without the use of shift kits. Shift kits dramatically raise transmission line pressure to increase shift firmness. Increased shift firmness will not increase performance, but create unnecessary stress on the transmission and other drive-line components.

I already installed one though, owell.
