4L60E output shaft play?

How much is allowed? I just pulled my transmission and the output shaft can touch the rear seal all the way around, it feels like its about to fall out. Just curious, I lost my ATSG book so I can't look in there to find out.

THE OUTPUT shaft is supported by the bushing in the tail housing via the yoke , It will move around without that a good bit as the rear case bushing is rather small
