Default Glide vs TH400

This isnt for a LS motor or a Fbody.

I'm trying to get some advice. I'm ab to pick up a built TH400 but just a little worried that maybe I should go with the glide instead. Need some thought's.

Car makes right around 1000whp/650tq
Converter stall is at 6500
Running a 28x10.5x15 tire
Have not chose a rear end gear yet.
Car rev's to 10k
Car will have nitrous

Thoughts/Opinions?

Yeah,
Car weight would be really helpful.
The HP is disproportionate to the torque to be a typical V8, so I'm guessing this is a small cube engine with the RPM, etc.]

At first glance I would say a Glide but need more details.

Is that an import? That's killer hp but low torque and its shifting at 10krpm
