Default Will a V6 4L60e bolt to an LS1 if I change the bell housing?

I just started swapping an LS1 into my car. I did some searching but couldn't find a specific answer. Is the v6 4l60e the same as the ls1 just a different bell housing? I'm really tryin to save as much money as I can and was just wondering if I could swap it out or buy a whole new transmission

Input shaft and servo are different.. if you search, you'll find the specifics, but that's all I can remember.

I think if you get a bell housing, complete input housing, pump, and possibly a servo from a V8 4l60e it will work.......but i guess by that point you will have a complete V8 trans so no need to convert it haha. I would just look for a v8 one to use.

Yeah I just want to buy a V8 trans for my LS1 swap so I can finally get it done. However my dad's convince if I just get a bellhousing and torque converter and such we could use my V6 trans...I don't know what I should do...guess I need more confirmation.

I have a LS1 4L60E and a V6 4L60E.
The differences:
Bellhousing.
Converter.
Input shaft/drum.
Pump stator tube.
Second servo.
Forward accumulator spring.
4th accumulator spring.
I'm sure theres more calibration wise but nothing a shift kit couldn't fix. Even the holes in the seperator plate were very close between the two to probably work fine with a V8.
