27.5 inch tire, yank ss3600 3.73 or 3.90
hey guys i just ordered my new c5 dd wheels i went with a 305/40/18 nitto 555r which measures 27.5 on tire calculator. i want to go with a yank ss3600 would a 3.73 or 3.90 rear gear be better for this tire and stall size. the car will see little to no track time going for a hard pulling back road cruiser. i know alot of people love the ss3600 and 373s but most are running a 26 inch tire...

I think that you will have some traction issues with the 3:90 gear and it might be too much around town.
The a 3.73 or less will pull harder from a roll due to the converter being able to stay in torque extention longer due to the higher work load.
But at the drag strip with the correct tire thr 3:90 will be better.
