Default excessive trans heat unlocked... Trans or Converter?

So I was scanning my car ( 05 GTO ) and noticed the trans was super heating when driving around locally. As high as 230 I have seen. When I get on the hwy and the converter locks up it will drop to as low as 165. I have been running a big trans cooler right up front and never had a problem until I put my 418 ls3 into the car. My vig 3200 always flashed to about 3800 rpms or so with my heads and cam ls2 setup. I am now seeing it flashing to about 4800 rpms.

Just not sure if its just the converter cant deal with the cubes well and giving off excess heat or my trans is cooking on its own. It feels fine even when i floor the car.
Trans Fluid is full.
Any Ideas?

Default

i gotta think a 3200 stall flashing to 4800 rpms is just bad and making a ton of heat... under normal driving unlocked does it get this hot or just driving the **** out of it?
