Trans Sponsors and Experts Enter Okay,
So I have posted earlier about the issues I had with my tranny and asked if installing a shift kit and the general conses was to pull the tranny apart and do a mild upgrade/overhaul.
So there are several non-sponsor sites that sell kits and parts and so forth and would rather give you my business.
The parts that I figured that I need to replace would be all the clutches and steels (don't know which ones to get), stronger sunshell, replace the plastic accumulator with a metal one, better booster valve, better reverse booster valve, better sprag, and a 10 vain pump, wider band.
I already have a corvette servo and the HD2 transgo shift kit. This transmission will see drag racing, hard driving and probably 450 to 500 hp/tq at the crank.
So what else can I add to this list. I don't want to spend more then 500 in parts for this overhaul. So are there any more parts I can add to this tranny and is there anyone on here that can help me. I am going to attempt this rebuild myself.
