Default help please 4l60e

i just install a rebuilt 4l60e with a 3600 fuddle drove it for a day with no problems the next day i was pulling away from a stop light and i heard a pop then it was like the car was in netrual when it stopped rolling and was at an idle there was a loud clicking sound so i shut it off was thinking maybe the flywheel broke? or something to do with the stall? and help would be great.

flywheel bolts or pump went out . If you have no gears it has to be on or other. if have high gears but on low or reverse lower roller clutch hope this helps

It's the converter.

You could pull a cooler line off and see if fluid pumps out when the engine is running. (basic pump test)

If it was the forward sprag it would move in manual 1st.
If it was the sunshell it would have 1st and 3rd.

It could be a screw up in the build. My vote goes for the converter.

thanks guy if it is the stall would it still have the clicking sound in park when i start it?

probally so man its hard to tell without seeing the car. pull coolant line and crank it up and see if its pumping that will eliminate one problem. betting converter or pump sir
