Thinking about getting a 3200 circle D converter
It looks like circle d is a really good company and from what I have read so far I am seeing that everyone with one likes it. one question I have is do I need a tune with a 3200 converter? If so, why? No big deal j/w if I will need one or not. I would also like to hear from anybody who has a circle d 3000-3200 stall to see what your 60 fts are and what you gained in the 1/4 mile? Also how high can you actually stall it just sitting there with your foot on the break and the gas?

You can't go wrong with Circle D Specialties converters. A 3200 stall should knock off a 1/2 a second on average. That's a pretty tight converter, but very streetable and will still make a huge difference in the seat of the pants meter You should not need a tune for it, but every car is a little different. Those sluggish dead spots will be gone after you get it installed.

Listen to this guy..
I have a 3200 stall, and i need to have certain codes deleted. My car ran like crap. It was already tuned also. As soon as i got the codes deleted my car drives perfect.

I had 4C and now run 2B 3000 Circle-D cause the 4C was just way to loose around town. The 2B does pull harder on top end, not much, but I noticed it immediately after swapping the two converters.

i have a 4c and am happy with it. its looser then stock yes but its nothing crazy, you know you have a stall... moderate throttle going up decent sized hills is usually 2500 rpm unlocked in town. heavy throttle goes above 3000 easy but you also accelerate quickly. Im getting a 1.68 60' on a lowered suspension with et streets. Looking back at my hptuner logs i am getting some wheel spin off the line so that 1.68 could probably be a 1.63-1.65. Shifts never go below 5000 rpm

So what is it inside the torque converter that makes your shift extension higher? The stator or what? I just don't get how that works. Is it the same thin that makes it stall higher?
