Default 700R4/4L60E 1-2 gear ratios

I'm currently running a well built 700R4 in my L98/jag conversion and I'm happy with the performance of the trans but the rpm drop on the 1-2 shift is horrible. Is anyone making different gearing for these transmissions? Thanks.

You would be much wiser to spend the money on a good torque converter. It will be simpler, less costly and more gains in terms of performance. The gears are costly and "overhyped" in terms of what they will do. A good torque converter will give you twice or more in terms of ET drop when compared to this "gear ratio change". There are many quick and fast vehicles using the stock setup. A good TC will do what you want. It "hides" the rpm drop, by not letting the rpms come down as far on the gear change. Remember the rpm drop is almost identical to the powerglide, but better in that it occurs when there is less "rolling" resistance, and less "wind" resistance. What makes the powerglide work.... the torque converter. Same here, Vigilante, Yank, Pro Torque, etc. If you have money to burn, do both.
