Default ss4000 chattering or something else making noise ?

alright heres the deal i just got the SS4000 in my car with a built transmission and i was workin on my 150 mile break in and everything seemed flawless then it locked up goin about 30 up a hill and sounded almost like exhaust vibrating on a heat shield but that wasent the noise...it almost seemed like a chattering adn i could only get it to do it once in awhile...could this be due to stock tune, or is it even the converter or something else ?...not trying to blame anything on anyone im just asking advise....

It's because it can't lock up at that low of a MPH. It has the effect of a manual transmission driving 30 in 5th, the whole drivetrain rattles.

Next time it does it tap the brake pedal, this will unlock the converter and the noise should go away.

It's going to have to be tuned to make it right.
