Default Auto shift problems

I have a 96 z28. I just changed my flexplate. During the process, the transmission fell off the jack. Not all the way off but most. After cleaning up the spilled fluid, I did an inspection of the transmission and its wires. Everything looked good, so I put it it all back together. Now when I drive the car, it wont shift. It goes in reverse fine but 1,2,3,4 are all the same. I,m not sure what forward gear it's in when driving forward. Feels like second but not sure. What are some things I can look at? I did refill with fluid.

I scanned with datamaster and no codes came up for the trans. I hooked up datamaster and while in the garage with the brake on, went through all the gears. Datamaster reads that I am going to all the gears. Any ideas why it is not shifting properly in the forward gears?

Check fuses first. If the transmission receives no power it will take off in 3rd.

You have set "limp mode". Do you have manual 2nd? If so, that's your problem. Usually it comes from no power to the transmission. Check fuses and wiring.
