Default recomend a performance 4l60e?

looking to get a performance 4l60e from one of the sponsors. And just curious as to which one you guys would recomend? No bashing of sponsors please if there is anything bad to say pm me. but im just curious to see what you guys are running and what you would recomend. i am in the process of going the turbo route on my 99 z28 hoping for about 600 hp give or take some more and running a 3200 stall for a cam i got specd out. what do you guys recomend for that ill only run 8-10 pounds of boost being a stock botom end. any input is appreciated only reason not wanting to go to a th400 is cuz i go on the highway quite a bit and still would like to travel in my car on short trips.

we have 2 of the best sponsors on this site. Performabuilt and FLT have proven it time and time again over the years. I went with the cheaper priced of the two and i'm 110% satisfied with my choice. I put a LVL2 performabuilt behind my heads/cam/nitrous(x2) ported fast fully bolted LS1 into my 4,500 lb silverado. it has held up AWESOME. I put down a little over 440 to the ground through a 3600 converter n/a, and then have a 250 shot on top of it. the truck always has either slicks or drag radials on it so the transmission gets no mercy haha. Communication with Frank over at Performabuilt is amazing too. it's 11:30 PM and i bet you can get ahold of him through yahoo messenger right now. I never hesitate to recomend performabuilt to my friends, and everyone that i know is as happy as i am with them. everyone seems to love their FLT transmissions too. search around and pick the company that you feel most comfortable with. you cant go wrong either way. i've never run FLT, but from my experience i don't need to try them out since PB has always given me the red carpet treatment.

PerformaBuilt has my vote every time. We run two of their trannys One in the Trans am a T400 in sig and the Camaro LV2 4L60E with over 350 passes on the tranny thats 4 years old and still running strong. Best bang for the buck Call Frank@PerformaBuilt.The
LV2 tranny is the one you need for your application.

I am one of the only two people that I know of that have run 9s with a 4L60E in a GTO. Both have Performabuilt trannies. I also have the fastest all motor GTO in the country. My tranny has been in the car for over 2 years now. I have countless roll races and 1/4 mile passes all mid 10s and faster. I put down 800lbs of torque to the wheels when I had nitrous and the transmission did not mind the torque at all. Car ran 9.98@138 in the Texas heat with a 3550 race weight.

And I only have the level 2 Performabuilt tranny!!!!!!!! Don't overheat the tranny fluid and make sure you have a good oil cooler no matter what tranny you have. You buy a Performabuilt and keep the fluid in good shape it will last you a long time.

We run Circle D built 4L60Es in our cars and push them to the limits. They take all we can throw at them and that is with us bracket/index racing 2-3 times a month. They do it right the first time.
