Default car dies, new stall converter

just had a stall converter and a few other things installed. now the car will randomly die at low rpms, usually when im trying to park it. ive also noticed it generally happens on inclines. any ideas? i had the stall put in wednesday and its died 4 times now. once at a stoplight, twice when parking, and once when starting the car it would automatically die unless i gave it some gas. all feedback is appreciated!

I would say that you need a tune. This is pretty common after a stall is installed. Vince

Mine will stall in reverse sometimes but I switch to "N" to stop it from stalling. It never dies it in any forward gear. I have had my tuned.

You need a tune. Find a tuner familiar with stalled autos.

i have the same exact problem in my 02 with a yank 4000. it has an appointment with steve frost on the dyno tues for a full blown custom tune! im pretty stoked about it and he said like others that its a common problem with the stall. he will correct mine when he tunes it tuesday
