with the car warmed up to its' normal operating temperature, gear selector in N and engine at idle, drop gear selector into D,the amount of the car wanting to move forward will give an 'indication' of stall. A 'none' or slight wanting to move forward would indicate a aftermarket stall,a strong wanting to move forward would indicate an OEM factory stall.
ALSO a stock OEM converor will 'flash' to about 1800,an aftermarket stall would flash to 2500 or more.
