Default new built tranny having slippage issues

My new 4L60E is slipping in first. it feels fine when u step on it, but when you feather drive it. it slips ive put 12 qts of royal purple atf. what do u think the problem is?

did u install a stall convertor because that would be normal?

whats the stall speed? mine is a 4c+ which is 3800-4000 rpm stall and is very noticible.
