Trans lines with Speed Inc Alt kit??

Trans lines with Speed Inc Alt kit?? I did the full SpeedInc alt relocation kit that retains power steering. Now I can't get the trans lines routed because the alternator is in the way. Anyone else deal with this issue? Could I possibly cut the trans lines and run some braided steel lines to the front of the car? This is a 93 z28 btw.
