Default Shifting at 6500(limiter) but commanded to shift at 5600...

So going to the track recently the trans wont shift at wot until it bounces off the limiter a couple times in 1-2 and 2-3... and i think its killing my mph... i kept lowering the shift points all the way to 5600 but it still wont shift before hitting the limiter. Any ideas? trans is going off to FLT over the winter but i just want to get what i can get out of it now.. lol. Fluid level is normal. I want the damn thing to shift at 6400 when this is all straightened out. If i manually shift from 1-2 it shifts firm but seems to take a few seconds.

I have been keeping the shifter in OD.

tuning or mechanical? thanks

your shift speed (mph) and shift rpm both need to be met befor it will shift! I bet you need to adjust your shift speed...

shift speed is definetely met when i look in the logs. its set at 37 which is 5800 rpm 1-2 shift but still hits limiter. Maybe i should try lowering it even more?

I adjusted your shift mph and rpm.. see if that works.

If it does then obviously you can adjust from there to where you want it to shift...

on your tune the PART THROTTLE shift tables you have to put the 100% throttle colomns to the same as what you have in your FULL THROTTLE shift tables ..... some pcms are picky with this some are not, i hope that was all your problem was!

Put the "normal" "perf" "hot" tables all to the same.....

I think your problem is that your "shift speed vs TPS vs Shift" 100% colomn values were not the same as your "WOT shift speed vs Shift" values... sometimes it causes a pcm confusion, hope this is your problem! If not then its more than likely not the tune and is a mechanical issue (blowing through the trans/stall).

Try these values:

yea im not making 600 horse right now but who knows... Maybe 430 at the most to the wheels N/A. i know the shifts feel firm when they happen so hopefully its just tuning... thanks again for all the help! I didnt know about the part throttle speed and full throttle speed issue so hopefully this fixes it.
