Default How much will this help? ss4k and et streets

I'm getting mt et streets this winter and a yank ss4000 stall! My car pulls very hard for a bolt on car. But I do spin alot. I know I'll need the tires with a stall. Think I could hit low 12's or maybe even a high 11?

with ~370 rwhp i went from a 8.4 in the 1/8th to a 7.7 with the only change being a 3800 circle d converter and et streets. 7.7 should be around a 12.0 1/4 mile. i think a low 12 would be easy maybe even an 11 if your car is light... my car is a full weight ws6. heavy...

My car went 12.0 with a 1.6 60" before the cam. And that's with 315 nittos and a 2.73 gear with CE adjustables that are probably junk. I'll be switching my 4400ss out this winter in favor of something more practical. Make sure you get a cooler. Traffic is hell with a big stall.

Default Impressive

These are some very impressive times for just a stall, tires and exhaust. I cant wait to get my stall.

I forgot to add that I have a bit of weight reduction. Removed spare tire and jack, air delete, egr delete, front bumper support, rear seat, no cats, a/c system is out and a few more things I forgot about.

I went from 13.1 with a 2.04 60 ft in -85 da to a 12.5 with a 1.72 60ft in +1428 da with the only change being a Yank ss 4000 stall . If the da was the same I should of went 12.30's . Thats 8 tenths !! Will see better #'s when I go back in the cool air with no sway bar or jack hopefully .Maybe 12.20's with a stock engine ,exhaust manifolds and LS1 intake
