Default Trailblazer to z28 stall?

So i was talking to some buddies the other day and ran into the thought of maybe an easy reliable cheap stall for a 4l60e tranny. Would it be possible to go to a GM dealership and order a trailblazer ss torque converter and install it in a camaro? the logic being that because the trailblazer weighs more and requires more power to start moving they come with a bigger 2800-3200 stall as a stock converter. camaro and TA being a 2000 stock. The 4l80e, though bigger, still has the same configuration and bolt patterns and what not, if im not wrong, and this should be a cheap easy safe alternative to spending 1000 for a similar stall. Havent seen any posts on this so i figured it was worth a shot. Let me know what you guys think. Chris.

The TBSS has the 4L70 trans, same converter as a F-Body. So you are correct there. But it is actually the same stall, so nothing gained there. But the 4.2 I6 TB is an 11" converter an get you some extra stall. We actually sell a version of this converter. We add some HD upgrades and recalibrate it, stalls to about 3200. It is a good option for a DD F-Body.

Here is a link for you.

With your HP levels, it should last longer than the transmission. So no worries there. Looking forward to hearing from you.

My TBSS converter stalled around 2200 rpm. That was stock AWD.
