b&m 4l60e?
anyone have any experience or know anyone using b&m,s 4l60e? i was just wondering because i work for an auto parts store, and i can get a great employee price on it. in the end i would save about a grand going with this over a flt or performabuilt.

Well, their converters suck, their shift kits suck.
I can't imagine their complete transmissions being any different.
You have the decision to buy one, sure the discounts sound great but not if it's garbage and fails, then you need to buy another transmission. Not really a savings IMO.

LOL @ Jays comment! Tell us how you really feel?
Seriously I have never heard of anyone running one of those units. A build list would be nice to see. However I see most companies that market these units really do not give you a detailed list of what is being used in your transmission. Its what I like to call a build story full of marketing! Kind of a baffle them with BS and dazzle them with brilliance type of thing.
IMO I like to see what I'm getting so you are able to compare what is going into your transmission. Do your homework and do it right is all I can say. If there is something you don't understand about a certain list of parts call them up and ask.
If there is something we can do for you feel free to give us a call. Vince
