Question Performabuilt

Ok I have a stock lt1 (minus cai) Im going to spend part of my income tax on a new tranny. I have been doing A LOT of reading and I am going to go with the level 2 b/c this next year (i hope will be better) I plan on doing an LE2 topend kit with a stock crank forged rod, piston short block, i want to get a good tranny and stall for whats to come. Ok my question is.. What size stall should i get. Im going to run the stock 10 bolt (I know ) with some et streets and a 3.42 gear. Im going to buy there conveter so i can get the awsome 2 year W
Is the billet cover worth the 200$?
Will the regular 9.5" be fine?

Sorry for the long post I just like to know im getting the right stuff before i spend a lot of money (b/c im broke)

Edit: The car gets driven everyday about 10 min to work. I have a company truck but i love my t/a !!

If you ever plan on spraying it the billet is probably a good idea. You can't go wrong with a 3600, mines drives near-stock

Go with the billet converter. i vote around about 3600 stall speed. I believe our trans and converter sponsors are top notch. They will take care of you I'm sure.

should i go 3600 or 4000? I DD it alot and i have never drove a car with a big stall, does it take much pedal to get the car moving?

cant really go wrong with either. it wont take that many more rpm's than stock to get the car moving. however when you smash on the gas it will be a totally different car
