Some questions about th350 conversion
I have a th350 that I have in the shop that I will be installing in a 94 z28. I also will be installing an ls1 k-member in this vehicle and picking up a bmr crossmember. A couple of questions about the torque converter and driveshaft and speedo...
Who makes a torque converter that will work with a 5.3 or 6.0 truck motor, will the stock lt1 driveshaft work, and how would I get the speedo functioning correctly with an aftermarket setup?(No interior in this car, autometer gauge swap)
This is going to be my first real non-bolt on build...so I have no clue what Im really doing.

Any sponsor can make a torque converter for this.
If it's a long tail th350 the stock driveshaft will work.
There are a lot of vss options, if the engine is going to be computer controlled it will need a vss input regardless of speedo used.

why do you say that? i have an lq9 w/a th350 bolted to it, my pcm has no vss signal and everything works just fine.

The PCM references the VSS signal, even with a manual trans. Sure you can get away without it, but someone wants information, the pcm does reference vss, I relayed that information.
