do yank converters come in black? There is a guy selling a yank super street converter close to me and he wants $300 for it. Anyways he sent me a pic of it and its black. I thought they were all red.. Im not trusting it. Do they come black? It is the yank 3200 supeer street

Ask him to take a pic and send it to you, then post it up here to see if it looks right. Here is a pic of mine going in when it was brand new.

I wouldn't trust a used converter. Specially if its not the color its suppose to be.
1. Its not a yank
or
2. Its been rebuilt by god knows who.
I would recommend going with a new one. Yank, Vig, fuddle, and circle-d all have a very good rep. Cant go wrong with any of those imo.

FTI converters are black. Here's a picture of mine to compare although I wouldn't really trust the guy. If he says it's a Yank and it's not red he probably doesn't know what he's talking about(or it was painted/rebuilt, or he's lying).

Yea turns out he said it was a tci or something but I wasn't really paying atention because I didn't really want it after I heard it wasn't a yank. I will be getting a circle d around christmas.
