Default ANYONE really using a 4L60E with 600rwhp?

I've had most every 4L60E lose 3rd/4th gear - stock, heads/cam - just weak.
Even after my local guy did all the mods and he's a pro.
I don't mind going to a TH350/400 but REALLY like my lock up and street manners.
Today I lost 3rd/4th in a built trans/billit lock up and need to fix over winter.
Budget including installation labor must be low as possible.
Please post up a successful 4L60E with a supercharger or at least 550rwhp driven hard street/some strip
meanwhile I'll research a TH350/400 swap. Don't want to lose my speedo or cruise control either!
thanks

On nitrous I make over 650 rwhp and my 60 worked fine. Drive shaft came apart and took out the tranny Friday night but it was a 3" aluminum stock replacement. A friend in Dayton OH who runs a Impala SS at 10.50's on motor built mine and he gets 300-400 passes out of his tranny's.

I have a 60e in my TA. It's only 500rwhp but it runs 10.40's on motor. The trans was built buy a good company and was in a turbo Silverado before it was in my car.

I ran a Perfomabuilt L3 in my truck for 20k miles before I decided to upgrade to a FLT L5 80e for more towing capicity. My truck weighs 5400lbs and has 630rwhp. They work if they are built right.

IM with JR... 900+RWHP here in a Pickup on an FLT Level 7

At 600rwhp I would get about 200 quarter mile passes out of my level 5 before it needed a re-clutch.

Rossler 60e here. On spray 650-750 rwhp. They aren't cheap but last. You might look into doing an 80e. Thats what we will run next if keeping the car on the street.

We have thousands of 4L60e transmissions with well over 650rwhp going through them out there getting beat on day in and day out. Let me know if we can help you out.

I ran the PerformaBuilt tranny LV2 4L60E running 900 rwhp. With no problems and ran plenty bottles of nitrous through it.

If you're blowing through built 4L60Es with stock power levels then there must be some kind of issue going on here; you should figure out what it is before you do anything else IMO.

no doubt a 60E can handle 600 hp. just make sure you have guys that know how to build these trannies like FLT and RPM.

This, proper tuning plays a major role, so does proper install.

Ran mine all year with over 500rwhp, pretty big nitrous hit without a progressive. No problems with my PerformaBuilt. A good friend has a RPM built 4L60 in his blown Firebird making over 600rwhp, been going strong for a few years.
