Cool keithz28 2001 camaroz28

Recently I blew out my 3.73 rear. the richmond gears broke apart and took out my eaton pro carrier as well. Had the gears and carrier replaced and now my A4 2001 camaro will not move in drive or OD but it will move in 1st, 2nd n shift into 3rd. Is this a linkage, gearbox or tranny problem?

the forward sprag is broken maybe even the low roller clutch this usually happens when a rear lets go the the reason it will go if you manual shift it is because the oveerun clutches come on as well as the low reverse clutches come whci are normally not on in drive range and do the same job as the broken components. It will ne to be rebuilt.

depends on the condition of the trans the part is cheap but i requires the unit to be disasembled and if its apart you mat as well get it rebuilt, anywhere from 600- 2000 depending on shop and whats done
