P0741 code on 07 silverado NNBS with perforabuilt converter I keep getting this p0741 code (TCC switch stuck in off position) The converter does not lock up sometimes and every once in a while it will. I bought this converter used and have put about 25000 hard miles on it myself. I have no idea how long the previous owner may have had it. The truck has a 4.8 with nitrous, cam and headers and has run a 7.98 in the 1/8 with a 1.74 60ft. Converter and trans. work great other than the lock up problem.
What i would like to know is should i send the converter back for a rebuild. I think the clutch is going out in it. Or is there some other problem.

That"s good news. The truck and trans only have 30,000 miles. Would the TCC solenoid go out that quick. The trans also has a fairbanks valvebody kit in it.
