Default Torque Converter With Stock Transmission

My brothers trans just went out, so while its out, he's going to step up to a 3600 stall(his old one is a 2600). I was thinking about taking that TC and having it flushed & putting it in my bone stock 2000 Trans Am. So my question is, will the bigger stall put extra strain on my transmission? Will it wear it out faster with a bigger than stock stall?

Yea more power will always be harder on it, but a 2600 wont be to bad at all

I've had mine in for almost 2 years now without any problems. A trans cooler would be a good investment for ya.
