700r4 into 2000 formula A4 what exactly needs to be done for a 700r4 to replace the 4l60e, cuz i can get a built 700r4 that can handle about 800 rwhp for 400 dollars and it has about 2k miles on it.

its my buddy's grandpas transmission, its in his 67 pick up and he said it is too much for him and just wants me to have a th350 rebuilt for him and he is gonna give me his 700r4. it chirps shifting into reverse lol, its a bad bitch.

its just how hard it shifts, the transmission was built by a very reputable transmission builder in the area who has been doin it for about 40 years, and the transmission has never done anything but cruise about 60 mph to and from car shows.
