Default Putting a used 4l60e in

I have looked through quite a few threads and can't seem to find anything.

1. Will a 4l60e from a 94 z28 fit in a 95 z28 no problems? I assume it will but there could be something I don't know about.
Also is there something I'm supposed to do while/after install?

2. I also recently installed a remanufactured 4l60e that was for a truck. The guy I bought it from said it had roughly 10-11k miles on it so far. Its already giving me problems with shifting, at wot it goes outta gear almost a instantly. It has weak spot as well through each gear almost. I have changed filter/fluid. Nothing has changed.

Please help.
Thanks.

yes but you will need to put the internal wiring harness from the 95 intothe 94 and plug in the PWM lockup solenoid and stick it in the bore so that your check engine light wont come on. or just live withthe SES 95 and up into a 94 car you would have to mod the valve body to have lockup.
