th400 dipstick?
wondering what all options there are for th400 dipstick in f bucket. i hate using the lokar dipstick as royal pain to fill trans up.
so wondering if anyone else did what i did i cut the stock th400 dipstick and stock 4l60e diptisck tubes and mated them together. used the 4l60 dipstick and made it fit to right length. now the th400 dipstick lands up in stock location of 4l60 and easy to fill.
has anyone else done this or vendor offer one?

i usually cut and make them fit, as long as the same amount of the gauge sticks out of the bottom as orig, its gotta be accurate-just welding the "stick"
is kind of hairy, i guess its tempered steel
i used a Lokar many years ago, def was a pits to fill, they gave you an adapter to help fill, i found out if i cut small groves in the outside of the adapter, it helped, let air escape while the fluid ran in
