Default Convertor for my setup

Can someone with more knowledge than me recommend a good convertor for my car? I currently have a TCI 4400 10" in it and it has lost its appeal since I use the car as more of a weekend hot rod than a race car. I would like something that would still yield me good times at the track with more drivability i guess. On a side note convertors seem to lock approx. 5-600rpm's over the rated speed on my car. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Here is my setup as of now:
Makes 443whp on Mustang Dyno
STOCK BOTTOM END
241 HEADS 5 ANGLE VALVE JOB, MILLED .030, MILD PORT WORK
PORTED MAF, THROTTLE BODY AND LS6 MANIFOLD WITH SLP AIRBOX
PACESETTER 1 3/4 FULL LENGTH HEADERS
HUGHES TH-350 TRANSMISSION

Something more like a 3000 stall would probably do fine for you.
