Installed my tranny cooler tonight-Pics
While getting into the install I noticed that my Ram air wouldn't fit with the cooler. So I put my cooler in sideways.
From the top view
Here is the inlet hose to the cooler
From the bottom
Now I have the ram air in with it. Had to cut some new holes in the ram air and movie it about an inch to the left, but it still works atleast.
And from the bottom with the ram air and cooler

Thats one way I tried to install mine but I would have to fit the cooler (which is the same as yours) so far over to the right side that the trans hoses had to much of a bend (kink) I could have done it if I used the pipe bender to bend a nice 90 right off the cooler I guess. I may still do it who knows. I tried a few different setups.

I dont think he will have overheating issues but I can tell you the car will be working alot harder to blow off some heat with just the ram air alone. These temps you cant really tell unless your reading temps from pcm. His fans will be on alot in warm weather like mine are.

I was thinking mayble I should put in a 160 or 180 degree thermostate to keep it cooler. It always runs right around 205ish, but I figured cooler water going through the radiator will help keep the tranny fluid cool

I personaly like the t stat idea only in the summer time.
And ill bet your fine with the hoses the way they are now. Its just that its best to instal with less sharp turns as possible and its not like your running 2 coolers or have other lines that are kinked. Your fine.
