Default Installing a new shift cable.. any how to's?

Never done this before, but seems easy enough. Just wondering what to expect before I get under there.

pretty ez man...just undo the two bolts from the tranny pan...use a screw driver to pry off the end tht goes to the shift linkage...u shouldnt have to lower your tranny..but it will be a pita..theres a lil grommet above the trans where the cable runs from, up top youll need to take off your shifter handle..theres a staple like piece tht u need to pull, its towards the radio side of the handle, not to sure how to remove the cable from there..im guessing youll see it by then...once its free im sure youll have to pull it frm the bttm...good luck man...btw..y r u changin it out?? I have ove 150 on my z..never had a cable issue(knock on wood)
